Burton Safes are delighted to announce that they are launching the UK’s first ever Grade 7 safe to be certified by an EFSG member. The SBSC certification ensures approval by all major UK insurance companies and by Eurosafe UK, the new trade body encouraging higher standards within the Safe Industry. Tested at the highly revered SSF in Sweden, the Burton Eurovault Atlas flew through its latest round of testing to EN1143-1 Grade 7. Ben Lewis, the company’s sales director said “we are delighted to bring a new level of physical security to the UK marketplace. There was a lot of scepticism from competitors when we announced our plans to launch this product, with many saying it was impossible to produce a safe to that Grade. We’ve proved them all wrong though and we can now truly claim to offer the country’s highest security rated safe. We believe that there is a good niche market for this product in both the commercial and domestic sectors. We expect interest from Financial Institutions, Jewellers, CVIT companies and amongst Europe’s Super Rich.”
