Burton Safes Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Burton Safes, one of the UK’s largest safe distributors and security companies, is celebrating 30 years in business. 

Established in 1990 from a Garage

The Yorkshire based security group was formed in 1990 by Norman Berry. He began selling safes to the region’s locksmiths from his garage. The business has enjoyed continued and sustainable growth. Today, the Burton Safes group is one of the leading suppliers. Supplying domestic and commercial safes to the UK locksmith industry.

Support for Our Locksmith Customers

The group currently employs a team of more than 60 people. With it’s headquarters in Holmfirth and manufacturing facility in Leeds.

With celebrations postponed thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic. The group is focusing on supporting the UK locksmith industry during this time of crisis.

We are launching a range of free, commemorative point of sale materials. With expanded product literature to help drive sales for independent locksmiths across the country.

Expanded Product Range with Merger

In January 2020, Burton Safes acquired the Leeds based Safe & Vault group. This has formed Yorkshire’s largest specialist security company.

In addition to offering the largest variety of domestic and commercial safes. Luxury safes were launched in 2015. We specialise in ATM security and safety deposit boxes. While we have also delivered flagship security projects for clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Burton Safes is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of physical security solutions. Our range extends to supplying security doors, panic rooms, strong rooms to customers across the UK and overseas.
